Rewarding opportunities to help campers just be kids:
Activity Staff: Participate in activity program development Assist in set-up and implementation of camp activities Participate in program evaluation
Medical Buddy: The medical buddy will be with the camper during waking hours from 8:00 AM until 9:30 or 10:00 PM and perform medical interventions (medication delivery, suction, toileting, G tube feeds).
Non-Medical Buddy: Non-medical buddies will spend the entire week with their assigned camper and provide assistance to the camper in activities of daily living, assist in camp activities, and assist the medical buddy whenever possible.
Night Shift Staff: Night shift covers the hours from 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM or as negotiated with camp directors. You will work as a team to monitor campers in their cabins.
For all volunteers: Cabin lodging and all meals and snacks are provided. Training classes for new medical volunteers who do not regularly practice pediatrics is required.
